Robin DeGroff is a local artist living in Northern Kentucky. She paints with acrylics often in the impasto (textured) style using brushes and palette knives. In college she majored in art but did not start painting until she retired from teaching in 2014. At times her work is somewhat impressionistic and she uses reference photos from her own travels, her friends’ travels and other photographers (with their permission). She enjoys sharing the beauty of nature through her paintings.
